Sidhu has line produced major films that came to Punjab & Amritsar like Tarsem Singh's (The Fall & Immortals) Dear Jassi, Canadian Feature Calorie, Ram Madhvani's Series Waking of a Nation, Karan Johar's Kill, Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chadha, Four More Shots Season 3, Vikesh Bhutani's Jaadugar , Akshay Kumar and Reema Kagti's Hockey Film Gold and Michael Winterbottom and Dev Patel's The Wedding Guest.
Manpreet Founded Rock IMS in 2006. It Manages Online presence and marketing for companies across three continents. It has clients in United States of America, Canada and Australia, Currently working on expanding into Europe.
Founded in 2006 and head quartered in North Indian town of Amritsar, Rock IMS also has a marketing office in Los Angeles, USA. Rock IMS was founded by Manpreet S Sidhu to provide services for upcoming film production companies like filmaka.com.
Manpreet has a Masters in Computer Applications from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar and also has extensive experience in Film production.
Rock Ims has since expanded from serving one full time client to more than 25 regular clients they work with on day to day basis. They have worked with more than 100 clients for short term projects. It currently has 9 full time team members in its development office in Amritsar, India.
Current Client list includes Independent Film producers like Deepak Nayar (Buena Vista Social Club, Bend It Like Beckham) and Entertainment professionals like Kurt Kelly and Hollywood actors Jeff L Williams, Directors Bruce Isacson (South Dakota the Movie) and Fashion Photographers Alan Austin.
Film production companies India Take One Productions (Slum Dog Millionaire, Eat Pray Love and ZD 30) and Limo Companies based in Florida, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Sydney and Vancouver.
Rock IMS has worked in the past with ADS Hollywood to program one of the most advanced web based content delivery and management applications. Also worked to program Oil Claim calculator used to calculate compensation claims for Gulf coast oil spills. Rockims was also instrumental in the foundation code of Lawruler Lead management System.
Manpreet Sidhu is also the Line Producer for the 2023 TIFF platform winner Dear Jassi and Midnight Madness runner up Kill. Manpreet also acted as the Judge in Dear Jassi.
